Global Outreach

The Love the ‘Ville Movement knows no boundaries as
we seek to unleash love in all parts of the world.
2025 Mission Trip Opportunities

We partner with global organizations to empower locals and meet the unique needs of their communities by building sustainable ministries. They show what it means to Love the ‘Ville right where they are.

One of the ways we can engage with our global partners is by going on a trip with them. This is a great opportunity to witness the work they are doing firsthand, assist in furthering their ministry, and grow in your faith. We hope you join us on a trip and experience new ways to Love the ‘Ville.

Earth Mission

The Karen are a minority people group concentrated along the Thai-Myanmar border. As a whole, they are well acquainted with the hard side of life. Although deeply community-oriented, one of the world’s longest civil wars has forced many to flee their homes to distant countries. Even as peace in Myanmar struggles forward, many of those Karen who stayed still struggle to scratch out a living as farmers. In mountain and jungle areas, little is left over for education or healthcare. Earth Mission’s programs are focused on developing a sustainable training program for indigenous healthcare teams to serve these marginalized areas. Earth Mission works at several levels to ensure solutions are efficient, culturally sensitive, practical, and permanent. They’ve developed a clinical training curriculum that aims to empower students, whose educational backgrounds are incomplete, to reach the functional equivalent of a Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant, over the course of five years. Other educational programs, needed for healthcare support, are in development (i.e. engineering technology, etc.).

GO Ministries

GO Ministries empowers local leaders to make disciples through church planting, medical care, and sports ministries all in the name of Jesus. Their efforts are based in Santiago but are quickly spreading throughout the Dominican Republic and around the world. They are a great partner with Northeast because they lead with a simple question, “How can we help?” and then they help. They serve the people in their care through mutually transformational group trips that you can experience. They have a 10-year goal to plant 1000 churches and two years in they have started 124! From a large group to a family trip, you can be a part of building the local church in the Dominican Republic and making disciples.

Neverthirst

Neverthirst is a faith-based organization that transforms unreached communities with clean and living water. Currently working in seven different countries, they partner with indigenous Christian leaders to deliver clean water solutions. New wells, bio-sand filters and rain tanks are installed and the community is trained how to raise funds and repair their system giving them ownership. At the same time, the Christian leaders are given the opportunity to build a Christ-centered community in these locations. It is amazing to see the Gospel take root in areas it was never allowed in before because of the gift of clean water. They are currently making a difference in Cambodia, India, Nepal, Chad, Uganda, South Sudan & Myanmar.

SOS

Hospitals in the United States generate nearly 6 million tons of medical surplus each year. A large portion of this consists of unused and/or fully functional medical supplies and equipment. Northeast partners with SOS to collect and distribute these surplus medical supplies and equipment to meet critical healthcare needs in developing countries around the world.

SOS has an ongoing need for volunteers to sort through supplies at their local warehouse. Sorting generally takes place every Monday-Thursday in the morning and every other Saturday of the month in the morning; however, special times can be arranged for groups of volunteers. Once donated materials have been thoroughly sorted, SOS loads those materials into containers and ships them out to medically impoverished communities to treat under-served patients around the world.

World Impact

World Impact’s mission is for there to be a healthy church in every community of poverty. To do this they empower local leaders and partner with them. Only 5% of the world’s church leaders have formal ministry training. WI focuses on training and equipping these church leaders with affordable education, mental health training, pastor retreats, help with church planting and prison ministry, as well as helping train people to best serve in communities of poverty. Celebrating their 50th year, this is an organization with a lot to offer!
Northeast began a partnership with World Impact this year to help urban churches and do more than just talk about church unity, but make a difference. World Impact already has relationships with a few Louisville churches and we are growing those relationships.
