Have You Checked Out the New Life Group Leader Blog?
http://smallgroupleadership.blogspot.com
Get involved in the discussion! I don’t want this to be a one-way conversation, but a dialogue that everyone can get into, where we can learn from one another, share ideas, throw out questions, etc. So look at me as the facilitator. My blogs are just to get you thinking and to get a discussion started, which means you need to comment!
The most valuable blogs are ones where there is discussion, dialogue, even some animated conversation—an exchange of ideas. So please jump in! I find the best way to follow blogs (I follow a bunch) is to subscribe which will list them under your feeds under your Favorites tab. That way you can check back to see if there is any updated content. I’ll be posting at least weekly, and often 2-3 times a week, so keep in touch!
Video of the Week: "Killer Community Tips"
You seriously do not want to miss this 3 minute, 48 second video! In fact, show it to your Life Group. Make it the opener to your discussion about your Group Action Plan (a.k.a. Master Plan, Covenant, Life Group Agreement, ...). Johnny and Chachi rock!

Deck the Halls!

It's time to decorate the church building for the Christmas season. Each year Life Groups have jumped in to help decorate the church, and I'd like to ask you to again--or maybe for the first time. This is a very fun, family-friendly serving opportunity that you can do together, and the more the merrier!
Decorating begins right after second service November 29. Pizza will be served and then the fun begins! For more information or to sign up, please contact Julie Brunner, 243-1907, julieb380@insightbb.com.
Moving Time: Can You Help?
As you may know, on January 11 Phase 1 of the renovation process begins on our current gym, children’s foyer, and 2nd floor. Chris Booth is organizing a day at the church where we can help our Parent’s Day Out program and Early Childhood Ministries move to their new home (the new annex in the parking lot.) The Children’s Team will be on campus all day on Tuesday, January 5. If you have time, we would certainly appreciate any help you or other members of your small group can give us on that day. Chris hopes we can knock everything out all in one day. Our PDO program actually starts that Thursday and we’d like to give them time to get adjusted before their 2010 winter/spring semester starts.
If you need more information or want to help, please contact Chris Booth - Youth Team Leader @ 502-212-5211 (office) or chris.booth@necchurch.org.
