CARE & SUPPORT

Benevolence Ministry
This ministry provides support to those in need of assistance with rent/mortgage, utility payments, groceries, medical expenses, and auto repairs.  If you have a heart for those who are hurting in our community and would like to become part of this vital ministry, please contact Jay Close at jay.close@necchurch.org or Joan Nelson at joan.nelson@necchurch.org

Counseling
Individual counseling for adults, adolescents and children as well as marital, relationship, grief, anger and stress management are available at Northeast's North Springs Counseling Center on our campus.  Click here to fill out a confidential, online counseling request.

Visitation Team
This group of trained volunteers visits people in hospitals, nursing homes and at homes. They send cards and make calls. This group takes the love of Christ and makes it real to people who are hurting and often alone. For more information contact jay.close@necchurch.org.

Kitchen Angels
A group of folks who like to cook and like to help others in crisis. They have taken food to families where homes have been lost to fire, where a family member is sick or dying, and following the death of a loved one. It is a really simple ministry that means a lot to those who are helped and to the helpers! For more information contact jay.close@necchurch.org.

CARS MINISTRY
The Cars Ministry is continually searching for used vehicles as the community needs far outweigh the supply.  Vehicle donations to  Northeast are considered a charitable contribution and donors receive the full “fair market value” tax deduction when the vehicle is provided to a qualified individual or family.

If you or someone you know would like to donate a vehicle and impact someone’s life,  please contact Joan Nelson, Northeast Benevolence Coordinator at joan.nelson@necchurch.org or (502)212-5220.  Please help us spread the word and help get people back on their feet again!
