Northeast is a church that not only serves inside our church walls but also takes the lead in serving others outside our church within our community. We exist internally but are externally focused. We want to be engaged in the life of our community and we invite you to team up with us!

If you are interested in serving in any of these ministries, please contact Andrea Culliton at andrea.culliton@necchurch.org or the coordinating leaders listed below.

The following are a few ways we are reaching out to serve in our community:

Balloon Angels

Gary & Gina McQuillen

www.ballonangels.org

The mission of Balloon Angels is “To lift the spirits of hospitalized children with the gift of a helium filled balloon.” Join this team as they visit children at Kosair Hospital & UK Children's Hospital who are facing some of life’s biggest trials. You will be amazed how a balloon can brighten the day of a sick child and their parents!

Cars Ministry

Jacque Reynolds
Beneveolence Coordinator
502.212-5220
jacque.reynolds@necchurch.org

This ministry helps needy families with transportation issues. We provide minor auto repairs and donated, reliable vehicles to qualified, financially struggling families. Faithful volunteers prepare the vehicles to be given away through mechanical inspection, minor repairs and the completion of required paperwork. The Cars Ministry is continually searching for used vehicles as the community needs far outweigh the supply. Donations are considered a charitable contribution and donors receive the full "fair market value". We are also looking for those who would like to, or know someone who would like to, volunteer as mechanics and/or donate a vehicle and change someone's life.
